CSOs launch campaign on Sustainable Development Goals.

Reporter | January 13, 2015

Civil society organisations in Uganda are set to embark on a sensitization campaign about a new set of global development goals.
The campaign will be launched in Kampala on Thursday this week ahead of the major launch of these goals by the world heads of states in September this year.
The associate director of World Vision Uganda James Kintu says the campaign will also get people’s views on what they want to be included in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Some of the proposed goals include goal number 1 of Eradicating poverty; goal 2 of Eradicating hunger and goal 3 on attaining healthy life among others.
