The Electoral Commission will today start distribution of polling materials ahead of the woman parliamentary bi-election in Amuru district.
The people of Amuru will tomorrow choose between five candidates including NRM’s Jane Frances Okili and the joint opposition candidate Lucky Akello.
The Commission spokesperson Jotham Taremwa says the materials will be distributed at all sub counties under the custody of police to ensure that voting starts on time tomorrow.
Talemwa says police is alert and will arrest any candidate and their supporters who will engage in campaigns today since the campaigns ended yesterday.
