The directorate of immigration and citizenship control has arrested 8 foreign nationals for illegal stay in Gulu city. This was during an operation conducted on Tuesday afternoon and the arrested include Eritreans, Somalis and Indians.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs spokesperson, Simon Mundeyi says those arrested are currently undergoing processing as they await prosecution.

He advises all foreign nationals to ensure that they legalize their stay by applying online.
