The body of the fallen Assistant Inspector General of Police Andrew Felix Kaweesi is to be laid to rest at his ancestral home in Lwengo district later this afternoon.
Kaweesi was gunned down last Friday at Kulambiro a Kampala suburb by unknown assailants together with his body guard Kenneth Erau and driver Godfrey Wambewo.
The body of the diseased was flown to Lwengo yesterday after a requiem mass held at Rubaga Cathedral.
According to the spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan Emilian Kayima, the final requiem mass will kick off at midday with burial set for 3:00pm.
Meanwhile, the other two officers were laid to rest in Amuria and Mbale districts respectively.
