Business came to a stand still in Soroti town for hours as supporters of FDC presidential candidate Dr. Col. Kiiza Besigye jammed the streets and town in procession to welcome him to Sports Ground where he finally addressed the rally.

Dr. Besigye said this time he is introducing a vote guarding system code named power 10 (P10) to secure the votes that president has been rigging.

Referring to his support for incumbent president Yoweri Museveni, Besigye also warned Kenya’s deputy president William Ruto that he was hanging on a tree that is about to fall.

He also promised the people of Soroti that when he gets into power he would revitalize the growing of cotton and open up cooperative societies to enable farmers get more household income.
