Ivory Coast and Senegal became the first countries to reach the semi-finals of the ongoing FIBA AfroBasketball 2021 championship in Rwanda.

Ivory coast outclassed Guinea Conakry 98-50 in a one-sided encounter played yesterday night at the Kigali Arena Rwanda.

The Ivorians dominated play from the first quarter leading 23-13,32-11in the second quarter, 26-13 in the third, and 17-13 in the last quarter hence a total of 98-50.

Senegal also managed a narrow win against Angola 76-74 in the first game. Angola won the opening period 22-17 but Senegal imposed their will in the second quarter and walked away with a slim win.

Today, ( Thursday)Tunisia will take on South Sudan at 4 pm while Capeverd will be against Uganda at 7 pm.
