Uneb to start hearing cases of withheld results today

The Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) will today start hearing the suspected cases of exam malpractice.

Over 3,600 results of students and pupils who sat for the 2020 national examinations from various schools across the country were withheld by the exams body.

The board withheld over 2,000 results of PLE candidates, slightly over 1,000 for UCE, and about 100 results of students who sat for the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) exams.

UNEB’s Executive Secretary Dan Odongo says students who will be found innocent will have their results released and those who will be found guilty will have their results canceled altogether.
