Former captain Sekagya is back

Former Uganda Cranes Captain Ibrahim Sekagya is back.

Sekagya, one of the country’s best players of his generation trained with the Uganda Cranes today at Namboole stadium and ahead of tomorrow’s crucial 2015 Nations cup qualifier with Ghana.

Sekagya who retired from international football plies his trade in the US Major soccer league with New York Red Bull FC.

Sekagya is in Uganda at the invitation of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations  after consultations with the Uganda Cranes technical team.

He says he is happy to train with the team and will always come whenever invited.

Speaking after today’s training session at Namboole, Sekagya said the boys look set for the game tomorrow’
Sekagya is currently in camp with the rest of the Uganda Cranes players at Sky Hotel in Nalya.
