By Ali Mivule

The Federation of Uganda’s Football Association’s (FUFA) electoral committee convenes today to make a ruling on Mujib Kasule’s nomination to Contest for FUFA presidency after finding his Nomination documents wanting last Friday.

The committee will be in position to notify him about the status of his nomination after verifying the documents he submitted.

The committee chairperson Samuel Bakiika says several documents are missing like signatures for executive committee members pass port size photographs, clarification of academic documents from UNEB, letters of recommendation from the clubs and football associations.

However Kasule has promised to comply with the requirements but attributes his woes to the limited time for him to present all the required papers.

Incumbent Moses Magogo is already nominated waiting for the August elections. If today’s meeting throws out Kasule’s nomination, then Magogo shall be declared unopposed for another term in office at the helm of Uganda’s footballing affairs.
