The director gender in the Ministry of Gender Labor and Social Development has expressed concern over increasing cases of nude protests staged by women.

This follows a number of cases in Northern Uganda where elderly women have stripped in protest over plans to take over their land by local authorities.

Jane Mpagi says this is violence against women and undermines their bodily integrity.

She blames this on some politicians who she says take advantage of these vulnerable women for selfish motives.
