Another Hero’s welcome for ‘Golden Boy’ Stephen Kiprotich.
He arrived at Entebbe International Airport this afternoon.
He was received by Education and Sports Minister Jessica Alupo.
Kiprotich won another Gold medal for Uganda in the World Athletic Championship in Moscow, Russia on Saturday.
Last year, the Uganda Prisons Service promoted Steven Kiprotich to the rank of Assistant Superintendent after he brought home a Gold medal from the London Olympics.
The Prisons authorities have again confirmed that they are considering promoting Kiprotich to higher rank.
According to the spokesperson Frank Baine, Jackson Kiprop who finished 10th in the same marathon will also be rewarded.
The latest Gold Medal comes with a Sh153m prize for Kiprotich.
