Government is drafting a climate change law that will complement the existing climate change policy.

This is to help fully handle mitigation and adaptation issues related to climate change.

This has been revealed by the commissioner in charge of wetlands in the water and environment ministry, Collins Oloya.

Reading the permanent secretary speech at the PRE-COP 21 CSO Consultative workshop in Kampala, Oloyaa ssured environmental advocates that government is committed to coming up with the necessary framework to address climate change effects.
