The Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda says the government is so far happy with the progress being made with the Sim card Verification exercise

This is after he chaired a meeting of different government agencies to review and harmonise progress on the Simcard Verification exercise.

Addressing the media this afternoon, Rugunda has also urged all Ugandans to embrace the exercise before the April 20th deadline.

He adds that government is also taking into consideration the concerns raised by sections of the public regarding the Simcard Verification, saying by close of the deadline, they will assess progress and advise accordingly.
