By Samuel Ssebuliba:

Government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo has described the attacks and explosions at the homes of opposition politicians as scare tactics to frame government.

In a Facebook post on the official Page of the Uganda Media Centre, Opondo says what the politicians are describing as real grenades are Flash bang grenades which are used to for training purposes and are not harmful.

He adds that some opposition elements could have acquired them. He ends his post with the #FakeNews and  #AgeLimitUg
