High Court Judge Lydia Mugambe has stepped aside from hearing the FUFA- Uganda Super League Ltd case.
The case was filed by the Uganda Super League Ltd against FUFA for terminating its contract to manage football leagues and commercial television broadcast partner Super Sports International Ltd.

Justice Mugambe cited personal interests and ordered the case to be taken back to the court’s registrar for re- allocation.
Meanwhile, Justice Mugambe extended the interim order restraining FUFA from terminating Uganda Super League’s contract until 3rd March when main case will be heard and disposed off.
Uganda Super League claims on March/14th 2014 it entered into contract with FUfA where it was agreed that the former runs and be responsible for the football leagues and commercial television broadcast partners Super Sports International which was to enjoy exclusive broadcast rights of football leagues until 2015 /2016 football season
However, on January 30th this year Fufa terminated the contract and assigned the broadcasting rights to Azam Media U Ltd to broadcast football leagues that are starting tomorrow.
