By Damali Mukhaye.

Makerere University has asked their students to start picking their admission forms ahead of the anticipated reopening of the University next week.

According to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Barnabas Nawangwe, students admitted on government sponsorship are slated to collect their letters from their respective colleges.

He says that those who were admitted at Makerere University business schools in Nakawa will pick their admissions next week on Monday.

Nawangye says as they await for government to pronounce itself on the reopening of schools, first year students are tentatively expected to report to campus on Saturday, January 30th, 2021.

They will go through orientation, which will start on that day and end on February 5th.

He meanwhile says continuing students will be required to report on February 6th.
