Former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi is asking the Uganda Cranes to prepare both mentally and physically for their next encounter with  Togo.

This is after Uganda suffered the first home loss in atleast 10 years yesterday.

Togo won their first match of the group E for the AFCON 2015 qualification campaign, beating Uganda 0 – 1 at Nelson Mandela Stadium, Namboole last evening.

Maranatha F.C right back, Donou Kokou scored the all important goal for Togo on the half hour mark that the visitors jealously protected till the end whistle of Kenyan referee, Davies Omweno.

However, in a tweet, Mbabazi says the team should remain optimistic and get the best from the return match.

The victory for Togo gives them 3 points, while Uganda maintained the top spot in group E on four points with a better goal difference.

Uganda visits Togo in Lome on Wednesday looking for nothing but revenge to keep hopes of playing at the AFCON finals for the first time since 1978 alive.

Newly elected Prime Minister, Ruhakana Rugunda was the chief guest among the thousands of fans who graced the match.

Earlier in the week, the police together with FIFA banned the wearing of T.Shirts branded with names and pictures of politicians
