The case in which former Premier Amama Mbabazi sued the Electoral commission officials has been adjourned.
This is after lawyers representing commission Boss Eng Badru Kiggundu, Secretary Sam Rwakoojo and spokesman Jotham Taremwa raised technicality questions.
Led by Enos Tumusiime, they argue that the three officials were acting on behalf of the commission and that case should not be against individuals.
Tumusiime also says former premier Amama Mbabazi has never complained to the commission, insisting the matter is not a court matter since it could be determined by the commission.
Mbabazi sued Eng Badru Kiggundu, Sam Rwakoojo, Jotham Taremwa and his deputy Paul Bukenya in their individual capacities for failing his consultation meetings.
He also accuses the electoral commissioners of inciting election violence.
High court judge Steven Musota will now rule on the issues raised by the defendants’ lawyers on the 14th of October 2015.
