The Minister of State for Finance and Planning, Amos Lugoloobi has implored all government ministries, departments, agencies, and all other stakeholders to always use the National Service Delivery Survey (NSDS) results in evidence-based decision-making.
He believes this will enable a re-design of effective service delivery channels for the welfare of all Ugandans.
According to the Minister, through these surveys, government receives feedback from the population on how the different government institutions deliver their mandates to satisfy those of the people and will give them accurate data for proper planning.
He was speaking at the launch of the 5th National Service Delivery Survey Report 2022 at the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) House in Kampala.
At the same function, the Minister of Public Service, Wilson Muruuli Mukasa said the report will give government the opportunity to appreciate the service gaps and challenges that will inform the service delivery agenda of the country.
National Service Delivery Surveys collect and avail information necessary to inform the public service reform program through efficient service delivery to the citizenry.
The survey was conducted in all the regions of Uganda covering various sectors like education, health, agriculture, infrastructure, water and sanitation among others.
