The ministry of internal affairs has given assurance that no registered citizen shall miss out on the national Identity Cards.
This follows reports by some individuals that their names are missing from the register.
The ministry’s deputy spokesperson Benjamin Katana says there is no cause for alarm as more data is being fed into the system for the ID issuance.
He explains that the ID released so far are those whose data has been verified.

The mass enrollment exercise for national IDs ended on Sunday with scores of citizens flocking registration centers on the last day to beat the deadline .
