More Heads Of State Arrive This Morning

More heads of state are expected to arrive in the country ahead of tomorrow’s swearing in of the president -elect Yoweri Museveni.

According to the foreign affairs ministry, those expected today are John Pombe Magufuli of Tanzania, Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, Teodoro Obiang Ngwema of Equatoria Guinea, South Africa’s Jacob Zuma, Muhamadou Issoufou of Niger and Hage Geingob of Namibia.

According to the president’s press secretary Lindah Nabusayi, the visiting heads of state are to be received by their host at State House Entebbe and 10:00AM.

First to arrive yesterday, were King Leslie III of Lesotho and Swaziland premier Barnabas Dlamini.
