As Uganda today joins the rest of the world to celebrate women’s day the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) Paul Lokech has encouraged more women to join the force.

In his message to women across the country, Major General Lokecg noted that as Police they  pride themselves on their values of leadership, strong willpower and determination.

He has as such called on more women to join the force and contribute to the key role of maintaining law and order.

The National theme for this year’s Women’s day is  “Building on Women’s Strength for a Better Future in a COVID-19 World.”
