MP Sekikubo (centre) chats with colleagues, hours before his arrest

Lwemiyaga County MP, Theodore Ssekikubo is currently held at Kiira Division police on Namugongo road.

Ssekikubo says that he was arrested last night at City oil and bundled on a pick up.

He also condemned what he called the excessive force used in arresting him but says that he is ready to defend his utterances.

Sekikubo is accused of uttering false statements and inciting violence in relation to the death of MP Cerinah Nebanda.

His arrest came ahead of summons issued against him to appear before police on the 11th of this month.

He was summoned together worth MPs Hatwib Katoto, Betty Nambooze and Sam Lyomoki who have already expressed readiness to comply with the police orders and defend themselves.
