One of the congested rooms in a hostel at Mulago Para-Medical School

Mulago Paramedical School has been closed.

This follows the student’s strike that got into its 2nd second day today.

The students went on strike yesterday protesting against poor service delivery, including a poorly stocked library, congestion in their hostels and bad food.

The management of the school today issued a statement asking the students to leave the school, over the strike.

In the statement, the management of the institute accuses the students of impatience, adding that their complaints cannot be addressed in a day.

The school has now been closed indefinitely.
