President Yoweri Museveni has directed the Prime Minister Dr Ruhakana Rugunda to control travel of government officials abroad.

The president made the directive at the NRM anniversary celebrations in Masindi yesterday.

The president expressed concern that many government officials continue unnecessarily traveling abroad which if stopped could help government save money.

Meanwhile the president revealed that government is to implement a 10% from all budgets to finance construction of roads to support oil production.
