The Non-Governmental Organisation board is seeking for more funds to recruit more staff to boost its monitoring capacity.

Officials from the board, led by Internal Affairs minister, Gen. Aronda Nyakairima, say it is difficult to monitor activities of these organizations due to lack of personnel.

The board chairman, Gabriel Kangwagye says following the signing of the Anti-Homosexuality Act in February, some donors have been channeling funds to some NGOs to promote their activities.

Recently, the police raided the Walter Reed Project offices; accuse the organization of engaging in pro-homosexuality activities.
