Lawyers on the legal team of the ruling NRM party have revealed that they are more than ready to defend Yoweri Museveni’s victory.

This comes after the NUP party headed by former presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging Museveni’s win.

Appearing on NBS TV, lawyer Hussein Kashillingi said they are confident Museveni won the election adding that the numbers speak for themselves.

The NUP party has however maintained that the election was fraudulent and rigged.
