Justice Kanyeihamba

NRM rebel MPs have expressed disappointment with the move by former supreme court judge George Kanyeihamba to take legal action against them.

This follows Prof Kanyeihamba’s decision to drag the four MPs including Theodore Sekikuubo, Mohammed Nsereko, Wilfred Niwagaba and Bernabas Tinkasimire to court for allegedly failing to pay him legal fees amounting to Shs 300 million.

The former judge says he served the MPs with the bill of costs on 11th February but they have refused to pay him.

However speaking to KFM one of the MPs Theodore Sekikubo admitted they had instructed Prof Kanyeihamba to represent them initially, noting that the matter would be sorted out soon.
