The ruling NRM party has swept all the five parliament seats for youths in the just concluded polls

On Monday over 7000 youth voted for their regional youth Mps which have all been in favor of the NRM.

The party meanwhile a week ago had its own Phionah Nyamutoro win the female national youth MP.

Now from Monday’s poll, NRM’s Agnes Kirabo won the central youth Mp race after garnering 780 votes beating 11 other candidates including her closest rival, Independent Ivan Bwowe.

In the Western youth MP race, NRMs Edson Rugamayo defeated six other contenders after garnering 1,419 votes beating his closest competitor independent Arnold Turwomwe who happens to be the son of minister Betty Kamya.

In Mbale, NRM’s Bernard Odoi beat five others to be declared Eastern Youth MP while NRM’s Henry Okot is the Northern youth MP elect.
