The Opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) has declared lawyer Erias Luyimbazi Nalukoola as the party flag bearer for Kawempe North MP by-election.

“I wish to express my heartfelt appreciation to NUP for blessing me to be the party flagbearer for Kawempe North MP seat. I am a loyal member of the National Unity Platform whose affiliation should not be put to the question,” the seasoned lawyer and former member of the Democratic Party (DP) said Tuesday as he addressed supporters at the NUP headquarters in Makerere Kavule, Kampala after being announced the party’s official flag bearer.
