The former ICC Chief Prosecutor, Luis Moreno Ocampo believes that areas affected by civil strife can be pulled out of the rubble by the privileged.

Speaking as chief guest at a graduation ceremony for 39 university students sponsored by Invisible Children, Ocampo says it is prudent for the more advantaged to stretch a hand to the unfortunate so as to rebuild a solid community.

Ocampo is in the country as an education ambassador to support the peace initiatives in Northern Uganda.

Meanwhile, the Paramount chief of Acholi, Rwot David Onen Acana has decried the increasing levels of land wrangles in the region.

Rwot Acana says following the conflict that left thousands displaced, land has become the most sought for valuable.

He says the region needs government intervention to resolve this and other matters affecting the people.
