Renewed fighting in neighboring Democratic republic of Congo has forced hundreds to flee into Uganda

Over 350 refugees have entered the country in the last days through Kisoro.

Speaking to Kfm Uganda Red Cross Society Spokesperson Irene Nakasita says 37 were received this morning while those who arrived yesterday have already been transferred to Kyaka2 Settlement.

She says majority of the new influx are children
