Parliament to honor the late Bandari this afternoon

Parliament will this afternoon honour the late Hon. Sherali Bandali Jaffer, former MP and proprietor of Fairway Hotel.
Bandali is remembered for helping to resettle 55,000 people, including many Ismailis who were expelled from Uganda by Idi Amin in 1972.
He passed away on December 27th 2014.
Also on the Order Paper as the House reconvenes after a week’s break is the Registration of Persons Bill and the Anti-corruption Amendment Bill.
The much anticipated constitutional and electoral reforms however do not feature anywhere on the day’s agenda.
