Police has intercepted a group of unemployed youths who were marching to Naguru police headquarters.
The youths were marching with a petition seeking for permission to hold rallies in Kampala but were intercepted at Bakuli.
In the process, a journalist attached to WBS Andrew Lwanga has been beaten up by the police officers and his camera smashed.

Earlier, police blocked a meeting by a group of NRM youths from Buganda.
The group had called for a press conference at Makerere University Guest House in relation to their forth coming Youth conference slated for 26th January at Namboole stadium.
However, police at Wandegeya led by the DPC Julius Atusingwire, came and dispersed them, saying the group never notified them and the university management about the meeting.
