Police has been challenged to expedite investigations into the murder of former AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi.

Yesterday marked exactly since the late Kaweesi, his bodyguard Kenneth Erau and driver Godfrey Wambewa were killed in Kulambiro, Nakawa Division, and Kampala.

In a memorial mass held at the late’s home at Kitwekyanjovu village in Kyanzanga Sub-county, Lwengo the Masaka Diocesan Secretary for Education Rev Fr John Fisher Kiyimba invoked memories of Kaweesi’s legacy that was characterized by generous contribution to the church and society.

He however in his homily tasked police to avail the grieving family members of the late and the society with a detailed report about the incident further calling for forgiveness for the unknown Kaweesi killers.

In response the Police Spokesperson Emilian Kayima who faced a hard time from the congregation who kept asking for answers said police together with other  agencies are making progress in investigating the murder adding that it is still too early to give a detailed report.
