By Ivan Ssenabulya:

The Uganda Police Force has revealed planned to fully equip the forensic center located at its headquarters in Naguru as a means of strengthening its investigative capacity.

The Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kaihura was addressing journalists at the Uganda Christian University Mukono in preparation for the First Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization Games.

The police chief says he will use the opportunity as the new EAPCCO chairperson to train police officers to world standards.

Meanwhile he also revealed that the Democratic Republic of Congo police force has applied for EAPCCO membership in a move meant to fight cross border crime
