Preparations for this year’s Eid-al-Adhaby the Muslims are in high gear.
This is a festival of sacrifice, to remember an act of faith and obedience by Abraham who honoured God and expressed willingness to sacrifice his son Ishmail.
Family members also share gifts and express love and support to those in need.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Speaker of Parliament Anita Among donated goats and rice to Muslim MPs and staff ahead of Tuesday’s ‘Eid feast.
The items were delivered by Zombo, district Woman MP Esther Afoyochan who is also a Commissioner of Parliament.
Eid al-Adha falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah and lasts for four days.
