President Museveni to open civil service college

Government is set to open the first civil service college in Jinja.

State minister for Public service Sezi Mbaguta says the college will provide quality in-service training and support public policy research and innovations for improved performance.

Mbaguta says the decision to establish the college was prompted by the numerous loopholes in the public sector such as corruption, poor service delivery and incompetence of some civil servants.

The college will be officially opened on Monday next week by president Museveni.
