President Yoweri Museveni is expected to deliver the State of the Nation Address today .

The address gives an update on the status of the country, highlighting the social-economic and political aspects, among others.

He will be expected to speak out on the status of the economy, the skyrocketing food prices and the agriculture sector, which is the back bone of the country as well as the health sector, which remains ailing.

The President will also be expected to speak out on the security and stability of the country, with growing threat of terrorism.

His address comes at a time when Uganda is facing tough economic times, with the inflation rate hitting 16% mark, that Uganda has not seen in over a decade.
