Uganda cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has named CAF player of the year nominees Geoffrey Massa and Yunus Ssentamu in the starting lineup for today’s match.
The friendly against Ethiopia kicks off at 4:00pm at Mandela Natioanl Stadium.
The Serbian has also included Lweza FC stylish player Mike Serumagga plus Vipers FC youthful midfielder Faruk Miya in his starting 11.
The starting line-up is as follows;
Robert Odongkara, Isaac Isinde, Brian Majwega, Savio Kabugo, Richard Kasaga, Tony Mawejje, Moses Oloya, Faruk Miya, Mike Sserumaga, Geoffrey Massa and Yunus Sentamu.
This is a warm up game ahead of the Cranes’ encounter with Ghana in the Africa Cup of Nation qualifier game.
The friendly which is organized by FUFA in conjuction with the Government of Uganda under the two Ministries; of Health, Education and Sports.
The game is meant to sensitize the public against prevailing HIV/AIDS threat and HIV/AIDS will be tested as many people will also be given special counselling services.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected be the as chief guest at the friendly game which will also serve as a crucial preparatory encounter ahead of the penultimate round of the qualification process for the 2015 African Cup of Nations for both sides.
