Security experts have called for a Modern Central Digital Criminal Justice data System in the Uganda Police to help in profiling and tracking the current criminal attacks on security installations across the country.

There has been a wave of attacks on police posts across the country with the most recent being in Jinja where a UPDF officer was killed and two guns taken. Other attacks have been reported in Kyanja, Busiika and Luweero where three Police officers were killed and guns stolen.

Criminology expert and also founder of the London-based Richards Private Investigations, Richard Musaazi tells KFM, that the pattern of these attacks seems to point at a similar organized and complex group, that only a  central data system can track.
