The sex workers in Uganda have condemned police officers who continue to arrest them any how.

According to Diana, the Advocacy and communication officer, women’s organization network for human rights advocacy says they face many challenges in executing their duties as sex workers.

She further notes that their job is very risky and the fact that it’s not legal in the country, most clients use this as an excuse to torture and deny them pay.

She further notes that they face discrimination from community members, churches, religious hospitals and so forth.

Meanwhile the police commit themselves from  not arresting sex workers and reveals that it’s time for the police to cooperate with them.
