Shell blamed for a 3.5 billion shilling loss to UNRA

Shell Uganda has been pinned for offloading Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) fuel.

The former UNRA director finance and administration Joel Ssemugoma accused Shell Uganda now VIVO energy during the hearing of UNRA commission of inquiry chaired by Justice Catherine Bamugemereire.

Semugoma says during the year 2008 to 2014 when he left the UNRA they had established a loss of 3.5 billion shillings which shell Uganda caused to them through offloading fuel on UNRA cards

According to the report from the UNRA Auditors the shell cards which were meant for different UNRA stations up country most fuel was off loaded in shell stations in Kampala
