By Moses Kyeyune.

The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has asked members of the public and politicians to forget the controversy that stirred up the house during debate on constitutional amendments last year.

The Speaker says that matter came up because of the tension at the time but maintains parliament is a generally peaceful House with intellectuals.

She has asked the public not to lose trust in Parliament because of a one-off incident.

The country was driven in a horrific situation when members charged at one another and fought within the chambers of parliament.
