Ssemogerere to be buried today

The former Democratic Party President, Dr. Paul Kawanga Ssemogerere will be laid to rest today at his home in Nattale- Nkumba at 2 pm.

Dr. Semogerere died at his home in Rubaga on Friday morning at around 4 am aged 90.

Yesterday, a requiem mass was held at Rubaga Cathedral before the deceased’s body was transported to his home where he is going to be buried today.

According to today’s burial arrangement, mourners are expected to start arriving by 10 am and a requiem mass will follow at 11 am. Speeches will kick off at 1 pm ahead of the burial slated for 2 pm.

Dr. Ssemogerere will be accorded a state funeral as directed by President Yoweri Museveni.
