A section of NRM district chairpersons has asked the party secretariat to reign in on the party electoral chief Dr. Tanga Odoi whom they accuse of harassment.

In a meeting with the secretariat leaders led by the party Secretary General Justine Kasule Lulumba the chairpersons accused Odoi of harassing them and treating them as party enemies.

Led by Kampala district NRM chairperson Salim Uhuru, the group has advised the new leadership at the secretariat to remember that the structures they are basing on where put in place by the current district chairpersons.

However the party treasurer Rose Namayanja says all party members must adapt to the new rules and guidelines currently governing the party secretariat and electoral process.
