The Democratic Alliance today starts the process of choosing joint candidates for the 2016 general elections.

Mean Forum for Democratic Change President Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu is optimistic that Alliance will maneuver through the internal party disagreements.

Muntu says the internal mechanisms within the alliance have the capacity to peacefully handle any disagreement before the process of choosing a joint candidate starts.

He adds that commitment so far exhibited by members of the alliance gives hope of having a strong join candidate to take on president Museveni in the 2016 elections.

His remarks comes as the Alliance’s reconciliation committee continues addressing concerns of the different splinters groups in some parties particularly DP between city Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago and party president Norbert Mao.
