Tension is running high in Moyo district along Uganda- Sudan border, as many South Sudan nationals cross to Uganda.
It follows failure by the South Sudan warring parties to sign a peace deal.
Last Sunday, the president Salva Kiir issued a decree removing four South Sudanese governors including, Wani Iga Konga of Central Equatorial State, creating more tension among citizens.
Speaking to KFM, the Moyo District Internal Security Officer Andrew Kandiho says the area along the border is still secure but a combined force of Uganda police and other security agencies are on alert to monitor the situation.

Meanwhile in a separate development, police in Moyo are holding three suspects in connection of stolen National Identification Kits belonging to Laropi Sub-county.
The acting Moyo District Police commander, Mr Stephen Agaba says the computers were stolen from Laropi sub county headquarters and so far three people have been arrested and detained at Moyo Central Police station in connection of the offence
The suspects include the issuing officer; a policeman and a crime preventer attached to Laropi police post whose names have been withheld to enable further investigations.
