The State Minister for primary education Rosemary Sseninde has directed Chief Administrative Officers to interdict any Head teacher who attempts to sabotage the learners registration exercise commencing on May29.

Speaking during a stakeholder’s sensitization workshop for Busoga sub region held in Jinja, the minister revealed that she has got information that some head teachers are planning to sabotage the exercise by not picking the registration forms from the CAO’s office.

She said such head teachers have been presenting ghost students and pupils under universal education program leading to loss of over Shs 20 billion of government funds.

She said in an effort to reduce such losses, the ministry of education has teamed up with the National identity registration authority to register all learners.
