Police in Lira are investigating a shooting incident where unidentified gunmen riding on a motorcycle shot and killed the proprietor of a popular pork joint in Boroboro, along Lira – Soroti highway on Monday night.

Hellen Akello, a 28-year-old resident of Barlwala Cell, Angwetangwet Ward in Lira City East Division, was killed in the shooting which also left two patrons at the popular ‘Container pork Joint’ located at Corner Boroboro, nursing bullet wounds. Police identified the survivors as Ms Vivian Ayuru and Ms Marcy Auma. Read more
